Open Settings with the gear in the header or ⌘, (Ctrl+, on Windows). Changes take effect straight away and are remembered between launches; Done closes the window.
Color scheme
- Match system follows your system’s light or dark setting, using Midnight when it’s dark and Daylight when it’s light.
- Dark: Midnight (the default), Graphite, Violet and Amber CRT.
- Light: Daylight and Paper.
Interface size
Scales the whole interface: 75%, 85%, 100%, 115%, 130% or 150%. Larger sizes help on big screens and touch screens; smaller ones fit more on a laptop. It works in the plugin window too.
3D view
- Invert horizontal drag: dragging right turns the table the other way.
- Invert vertical drag: dragging up tilts the table the other way.
- Color lines by level: draws the positive and negative parts of each wave in different colors. The paintbrush button in the table panel’s header does the same.
WaveStack Pro
Shows whether Pro is on and how: free during the preview, a trial with the days left, or who the license belongs to. Enter license opens the license window. On the iPad, this section has Unlock Pro and Restore instead. See WaveStack Pro.
Privacy
Share usage data sends anonymous counts of which features get used, to help decide what to work on. It never includes file names, paths or audio. Turn it off any time. See the privacy policy.
Elsewhere
- MIDI input isn’t in Settings. It’s at the bottom of the Sound tab. See Sound and playing.
- Sound settings (envelopes, filter, LFOs and modulation) are in the Sound tab, and Reset there puts them back to their defaults.
- The layout (panel sizes, which panels are minimized and the chosen tab) is remembered on its own. Double-click a divider to reset it.
