The plugin is a MIDI effect. It sends MIDI CC to your DAW, which passes it on to an instrument or a MIDI track. Clocked sources follow the DAW’s tempo. The patch is saved with your project.
The plugins are a separate download. Unzip it and copy each plugin into your plug-in folder. You only need the formats your DAW uses.
On the Mac:
| Plugin | Folder |
|---|---|
| WaveStack Modulate.clap | ~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/CLAP |
| WaveStack Modulate.vst3 | ~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3 |
| WaveStack Modulate.component (Audio Unit) | ~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components |
On Windows:
| Plugin | Folder |
|---|---|
| WaveStack Modulate.clap | C:\Program Files\Common Files\CLAP |
| WaveStack Modulate.vst3 | C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3 |
Then rescan plugins in your DAW. Put the plugin before an instrument, or on a MIDI track routed to one. In Logic, add it as a MIDI FX on an instrument track.
The plugins only send MIDI. To send CV while using a DAW, run the app at the same time.
