Free and Pro
The free version has one source, two MIDI outputs, and these shapes: sine, triangle, saw, square, sample & hold and smooth random.
Modulate Pro adds:
- 16 sources and 64 outputs
- Morph, drawn shapes and the chaotic systems
- Smooth and Rough
- Modulation between sources
- CV, gates, CV in and clock in
- The plugins, including the AUv3 on the iPad
Pro features have a Pro tag. In the free version, choosing one offers Pro.
On the iPad, Pro is a one-time purchase in Settings. It covers the app and the AUv3 on every iPad signed in to the same Apple Account. On another iPad, open Settings and click Restore.
During the preview, the Mac and Windows versions include everything.
Privacy
Modulate sends anonymous counts of which features are used, along with the app version and platform. We use this to decide what to work on. It never sends your patches, preset names or device names. To turn it off, go to Settings › Privacy. The plugins don’t send anything.
